Robert E. Bock

Robert E. Bock, 80, of 125 Valley Circle N.E., Warren, OH died at 7:38 PM, on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Center in Warren. He was born on Friday, July 20, 1923, in Warren, OH the son of Harry C and Adelaide (Rose) Bock
And was a 1941 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and served in the US Army during World War II when he came home to work in the family business of Bock Transfer & Storage where he was president for 15 years retiring in 1985 after 43 years with the company.

He was a lifetime member of Second Christian Church and a member of The Buckeye Club, Warren Rotary Club, Old Erie Lodge # 3, F. & A.M.,
Mahoning Lodge #29, I O O F and Bristol Springs Country Club. He was active in the Ohio Trucking Assn. and the Ohio Movers Assn.

Mr. Bock is survived by his wife Louise Williams Eastman Bock, whom he married in 1992. Four children Linda Weber of Massillon, Jerryl (Don) Songhurst, of Medford, NJ, Carla (David) Melvin of Brunswick, Georgia and Stewart Kagy of Cincinnati, Oh one brother , James H. (Donna) Bock , 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren one grandson and former wife Betty Kagy Bock preceded in death

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Second Christian Church, with family meeting friends one hour prior to service. Rev. Gene Eason Private family inurnment will precede the service at Oakwood Cemetery.
