Rita Coriene Berry

Rita Coriene Berry of Niles passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 4:47 p.m. in her residence. She was 81 years old.

Rita was born in Warren on June 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Clifford and Rita Durig Berry.

Ms. Berry was a graduate of Howland High School. Following high school, she was employed as an airline attendant for many years before moving on to General Motors where she was a supervisor until her retirement.

She was a member of St. Stephen Church. Earlier in life she enjoyed golfing and skiing. Rita traveled the world and experienced the most out of life. She always returned home to her loving family. She cherished her nieces and nephews. When her parents where older she cared for them, she truly was a loving and loyal daughter.

Rita is survived by 9 sisters, Barbara (John) Amrich, Carol (Joe) Stuber, Bonita (Jim) Caton, Mary Catherine (Charlie) Frew, Madeline Cage, Nancy (Andy) Fabis, Jane Fredericks, Loraine Berry, and Melanie (Dennis) Gallagher; 6 brothers, Donald (Florence) Berry, Charles Berry, Timothy Berry, Denny (Christine) Berry, Robert (JoAnn) Berry, and Randy (Sue) Berry.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John Thomas Berry and Clifford Berry; 5 nieces, Courtney, Sarah, Mary Ann, Aleah, and Libby; a nephew, Gregory Stuber; 2 sisters in laws, Joyce and Cookie Berry.
