Rita Aune

Rita Q. Aune, age 82, died Friday, October 17, 2003 at Washington Square Nursing Center in Warren.

Mrs. Aune born August 13, 1921 in Warren, the daughter of the late John and Sarah Mullen Quilligan. She was a lifetime resident of Warren. On May 27, 1969, she married Ralph Aune, who preceded her in death in January, 1989. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles and crocheting.

Surviving Mrs. Aune are a son, Clyde Jackson of Bazetta; a daughter, Susan Sinovec of Champion; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Aune in death are her parents; her husband; and three sisters: Marie Quilligan, Rutheda Kelley, and Teresa McCullick.

Arrangements are being handled by McCardell-White-McFarland Funeral Services, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, phone 330/393-7126, where friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, October 19, 2003 and also from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM Monday, October 20, 2003. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home, with Father George Popovich officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
