Richard G. Morrow

Richard G. Morrow, 57, of Champion, died 4:30 PM Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born Thursday, November 6, 1947 in Youngstown, the son of the late Paul and Lois Campbell Morrow.

Mr. Morrow was a 1965 graduate of Farmington High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He had retired from the U.S. Department of Transportation and had worked as a driver for Maytag Aircraft at the Vienna Air Base. He was a member of Old Erie Lodge #3, F.& A.M., and a former member of the National Hod Rod Association.

Mr. Morrow enjoyed drag racing, car shows, antique cars, and liked to work on old Fords. He was a good man who loved his wife and children.

Surviving Mr. Morrow are his wife, Joyce Reeves Morrow, whom he married April 13, 1970; three children: Billy Morrow, Sr. of Warren, Karen (Joe) Herubin of Cortland, and Brenda Morrow of Niles; four grandchildren: Billy Morrow, Jr., Maxwell and Nolan Herubin, all of Cortland, and William Rumple IV of Niles; two brothers: Robert (Pat) Morrow of Andover and Ronald (Patti) Morrow of North Bloomfield; two nieces: Susan Morrow of Orwell and Christi Wells of Arlington, Texas; a nephew, Steven (Crystal) Morrow of North Bloomfield; and Cassie, his best friend and constant companion.

Preceding Mr. Morrow in death are his parents.

Services for Mr. Morrow will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 26, 2004 at Bazetta Christian Church, 4131 Bazetta Rd., Cortland, Ohio 44410, with Rev. Joseph Propri of the United Church of Garrettsville officiating. Friends may call at the church 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday, and at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday. Interment with military honors will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Champion Township Cemetery. Material contributions may be made to the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation, Inc., P.O.
