Richard Harlan Davis

Richard Harlan Davis, Sr., 88 ,of Howland, died at 5:55 AM, on Saturday, August 16, 2003 at his home.
He was born on Tuesday, May 4, 1915, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of the late Samuel and Ruby Davis.
He worked for the Howland Road Department for 16 years, retiring in 1978.
On August 8, 1935, he married Anna Marie Browlee, who died March 14, 1999.

Surviving Mr. Davis are three daughters:Kathleen Freeman of Howland, Sandra Hogan of Port Orange, Florida, and Barbara Prokop of Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mr. Davis in death are his parents and his wife; two sons, Richard H. Davis, Jr. and David William Davis; a daughter, Carol Davis; and two sisters, Margaret Rice and Ethel Siefert.

A memorial service will be held at the McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481 on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at 1:00 PM. There are no calling hours. Mr. Davis's ashes will be buried at Howland Township Cemetery immediately following the service.
