Rebecca Wilson

Rebecca C. Wilson, 79, of Warren, died Thursday, October 5, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She was born August 12, 1928 in Warren, the daughter of Peter and Stella (Carla) Cavadas.

Rebecca was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She worked for Packard Electric in assembly and the for the American Automobile Association processing membership applications. She was an active homemaker who liked to work around the house.

Surviving are her daughter Jamie (Robert) Johnson; a sister, Mary Ballas of Warren; a brother, David (Lynette) Cavadas of Sagamore Hills; a granddaughter, Athena Wilson; a grandson, Brandon Wilson both of Warren; two nephews: Jason (Karen) Cavadas of Twinsburg and Jed (Melissa) Cavadas of Strongsville; two grandnieces, Emma and Ashley Cavadas of Twinsburg; a brother-in-law Richard Garbinski; a nephew, Max Garbinski; and she also leaves behind her very dear friend of over 40 years, Ann Sabitini. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Esther Garbinski.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. James Baer officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
