Randall A. Friend

Randall A. Friend, 42, of Andover, died suddenly at home Saturday, December 22, 2007. He was born July 31, 1965 in Warren, the son of Harold and Margaret (Beckman) Friend, and had moved from the Warren area to Andover nine years ago.

Mr. Friend was a graduate of LaBrae High School and worked in inventory control for Kraftmaid in Orwell. He was an active member of Andover Christian Church and enjoyed farming, four-wheeling, hunting, and fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his parents of Warren; his wife, Mary (Koehler) Friend, whom he married November 2, 1991; and three children: Luke A., Daniel G., and Heidi M. Friend. A sister, Carolyn Friend, preceded him in death.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at McFarland & Son Funeral home, with Rev. Bob Gears of Andover Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Knoll Cemetery in Warren Township. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to Shekinah Christian Academy, P.O.
