Ralph W. Persing Jr

Ralph W. Persing Jr., of Niles, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family at 1:17 a.m. Wednesday (2-25-15). He was 64.
He was born in Warren, OH on September 11, 1950, the son of Ralph Sr. and Doris Ohl Persing.
He was a graduate of Stranahan High School in Stranahan, FL.
Ralph retired in 2006 after 26 years of employment from the maintenance department at Lakeview School Systems.
Mr. Persing enjoyed spending time outdoors, weather it was hunting and fishing and relaxing while he worked on his garden. Most importantly he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Morris Persing, whom he married January 22, 1977; 6 children, Laura Phillips of Kissimmee, FL, Jeff (Michelle) Persing of Warren, OH, Brian (Tammy) Persing of Columbiana, OH, Stacey (Tom) Dupirack of Girard, OH, Michael (Lorri) Sherro of Liberty, OH, and Cindy (Randy) Fauvie of McDonald, OH; a sister, Pam (Larry) Collier of Lordstown, OH; 2 brothers, Roger Persing of Lake Wales, FL, and Ronald Persing of Struthers; a step mother, Barbara Persing of Lake Wales, FL; 2 step brothers, Ronald (Zeba) Paine of Hollywood, FL and Kevin (Sue) Paine of Colorado Springs, CO; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Persing; a brother, Craig Persing.
