Phyllis A. (Stieb) Seifert

Phyllis A. Seifert of Niles passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 6:56 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was 78.

Phyllis was born in Sharon, PA on December 21, 1937, the daughter of the late Phillip and Ann Miller Stieb.

She was a graduate of Brookfield High School. Mrs. Seifert was a nursing assistant at Autumn Hills Care Center for many years. Most importantly she was a loving wife and mother.

Mrs. Seifert enjoyed bingo, traveling with family, and on Friday nights watching the Niles Red Dragon football team and band play.

Phyllis is survived by 5 children, Jeffrey (Kay) Greenwood of Whittier, CA, Denis Greenwood of Vienna, OH, Tina (Tim) Porter of Niles, Pearl (Joe) Cetar of Culpeper, VA, and Bob Seifert of Niles; 9 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Monique, Kara, Timie, Sarah, Kyle, Molli, Kana, and Caitlin; 2 great grandchildren, Wyatt and Emalyn.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by a son, William; her first husband, Donald Greenwood Sr. and second husband, John E. Seifert.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Internment will take placed in Brookfield Twp. Cemetery.
