Peter Testa, 86, of Warren, died Sunday, January 3, 2010 at St. Joseph Health Center. He was born January 30, 1923 in McIntyre, Pa., the son of Louis and Rose (Petrone) Testa.
Peter retired from Peerless Electric Motor Company in 1978. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the 735th Armored Tank Battalion in Belgium. Due to severe leg injuries, he was awarded a Purple Heart and was discharged from the service. After a long recuperation, he returned to his job with Peerless Electric.
A lifetime resident of Warren, Peter is survived by his wife Ann, twin daughters Ninette Marie Testa of Warren and Ninine Cecile Testa of Seattle, Washington, son Ronald Allen Testa of Warren, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Frances Bellay and Ms. Madelyn Testa, both of Warren. Deceased are Peter's parents and four brothers, George J., James, Guido, and Louis Testa, Jr.
There are no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place.
