Peggy A. Parisi

Peggy Ann Parisi, 66, of Warren, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born June 19, 1944 in Franklin, Pa., the daughter of George and Ida (Robison) Rumberger, and had lived in the Warren area for over fifty years.

A graduate of Franklin, Pa. High School, Mrs. Parisi was a positive person who enjoyed the simple things in life. She greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and loved to sit on the porch, watching them play. An avid reader, she also liked to play cards, go camping at Pymatuning Lake, and was a big Dale Jarrett NASCAR fan. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Anthony J. Parisi, whom she married July 11, 1970; three children: Anne Marie, Jack Anthony, and Mary Grace (Edward Booth, companion) Parisi, all of Warren; three grandchildren: Na'Veyah and Paris Parisi and Andrew Booth; two sisters: Shirley (Donald) Weaver of Tennessee and Jean (John) Bailey of Arizona; a brother, Edward (Jolene) Rumberger of Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Mark and Eileen Novotny of Warren, and their children, Brian, Daniel, Mark, and Joanna. Her was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law Jennifer Parisi.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 232 Seneca N.E., Warren, Ohio 44481, with Fr. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Cremation will follow, and her urn will be laid to rest 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at All Souls Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, from where cars will process to the church.
