Pearl C. "Posey" Simpson, 81, of North Bloomfield, died 7:00 PM Friday at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born October 2, 1924 in Wileyville, W.Va., the daughter of Santford Matthias and Ona LeMasters Crane, and had lived in Trumbull County for over 60 years.
Mrs. Simpson had been a bookkeeper for Orwell Supply and had also worked at Quinn's Market in North Bloomfield. She enjoyed cards, fishing, traveling, slot machines, and most of all, her family.
Surviving are her children: Larry R. (Pam) Simpson of Howland, Donald G. (Louise) Simpson of Acampo, Calif., Joyce M. (Gary) Everitt of Bristolville, and Patti S. (Ronald) Morrow of Orwell; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Charles H. Simpson, whom she married March 15, 1947 and who died August 23, 1998; a granddaughter, Michelle Simpson; a sister, Mary West; and two brothers, Don and Glenn Crane.
Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Oaks of First United Methodist Church in Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Brownwood Cemetery in North Bloomfield. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
