Paul Michael Pickett

Paul Michael Pickett of Campbell passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 7:36 a.m. in an automobile accident. He was 41 years old.

Mike was born on February 17, 1978 in Warren, the son of Charles Pickett and Maureena Lee Mountcastle.

He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. Following high school, Mike furthered his education at ETI Technical School. He obtained his Associates Degree in Accounting and Ohio Tax Certification.

He was of strong Baptist faith. He loved spending time in nature, from camping and fishing, to hiking Nelson Ledges. He enjoyed going to concerts and traveling. “Pickett” as he was affectionally known, loved surrounding himself with friends and family. His biggest accomplishment in life was raising his beloved children, Marcus and Leena.

Mike is survived by a daughter, Leena Pickett of Campbell; his mother, Maureena Lee Mountcastle of Campbell; 2 sisters, Rebecca Pickett (Jerome Caldwell) of Akron and Michelle Pickett of Atlanta, GA; 2 brothers, Brian Pickett of Atlanta, GA and Delmar Pickett of Akron; and companion, Sonia Koehn and her children.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles Pickett; son, Marcus Pickett; and brother Thaxton M. Pickett.

A funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Victory Christian Center Coitsville Campus.
