Patricia Ann Meyer of Lordstown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 12:25 p.m. in University Hospital Portage. She was 89 years old.
Patricia was born in Brownsville, PA, on April 21, 1935, the daughter of the late William and Helen (Zias) Zombar.
Following high school, Mrs. Meyer worked for the United Telephone Company. In 1958 she married the love of her life, Robert L. Meyer and together they raised 3 children. Following the birth of her children, she became a homemaker.
Patricia was a member of the former Christ Our King Church in Warren. While her children were growing up, she enjoyed spending her time with them outdoors, boating, fishing, and swimming around Lake Erie and other local lakes. She was known to have a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers in her garden. She also loved traveling and enjoyed her trips to Arizona to spend time with her daughter. Patricia also loved animals, especially dogs.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Michelle Hartman and her husband Robert Nowak of San Tan Valley, AZ. Heather Minor and her husband Shawn of Lordstown; 3 grandchildren. Chance (Kathy), Alexander, and Mykaila (Trent); 3 great grandchildren, Raelynn, Rob, and Benjamin; and her grandpup Karma.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Meyer, who passed away in September of 1993; a son, Robert L. Meyer Jr.; and a brother, William Zombar.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, especially Candy Miller, and her niece Carol Bucci, as well as the caring staff of University Hospital Portage, and Patriot Home Care for their compassion shown to Patricia throughout the years.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2024, in the chapel at All Souls Cemetery 3823 Hoagland Blackstub Rd, Cortland, OH 44410.
