Patricia Leisy

NILES - Patricia Leisy, 76, passed away on March 16, 2014 at Shepherd of the Valley. She was born in Warren on February 2, 1938 and was the beloved daughter of the late George A. and Irene (Lewis) Ashley.

Patricia graduated from Warren G. Harding in 1955, and attended Youngstown State University. She worked 10 years each for Community Skilled Nursing Home as a nurses aide, and for Howland Giant Eagle as a cashier. Patricia enjoyed people and helping others. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and sang in their choir for many years, and was also a member of Warren Civic. Patricia loved to bake, cook, and be with her family.

Memories of Patricia will be carried on by her husband; Harry J. Leisy of Niles, whom she married January 5, 1957, a son; Paul E. (Tammie) Leisy and a granddaughter; Kelsie Leisy all from Warren.

Preceding her is death was a sister, Betty Henderson, who passed in 2010.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at McFarland and Son Funeral Home in Warren with Rev. John Preusser of Faith Baptist Church officiating. Patricia's family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Procession will follow to Green Haven Memorial Gardens, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Rd, Canfield, OH, 44406 for the final committal service.
