Patricia A. Hetzler

Patricia A. Hetzler, 61, of Howland, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born March 16, 1947 in New Wilmington, Pa., the daughter of Melvin A. and Ettamae (Konvolinka) Hetzler.

Ms. Hetzler was a graduate of Howland High School. She earned her bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University, her master's degree at Westminster College, and taught second grade in the McDonald Schools for 31 years. She was a member of North Mar Church of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, and a former member of First United Methodist Church of Warren. A warm, friendly lady, she enjoyed yardwork, housework, reading, playing the piano, her church family, and all others with whom she came in contact.

Surviving are her mother, Ettamae Hetzler of Howland; a brother, Melvin C. (Chrystal) Hetzler of Youngstown, her caregiver and special friend, Ann Jordan of McDonald; and her special friends, Jim and Jane Bucher of Howland. Her father precedes her in death.

Services are 12:00 noon Monday, June 9, 2008 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Long of North Mar Church officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park.
