Patricia A. Giddings

The Villages, FL - Patricia A. Giddings, 73, died Friday, July 28, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 6, 1944 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ann (Matyas) Polivka.

Formerly of Warren, Patty was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Warren, Ohio. Pat and Denny enjoyed boating on Lake Erie and traveling around the world.

Memories of Patty will be carried on by husband, Dennis Giddings of The Villages, FL, whom she married June 20, 1964, daughter, Patrice (Ronald) Darlington and granddaughter, Emily Darlington of Howland as well as a brother, Basil (Bonnie) Polivka, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, sister June Valentine of Howland, and sister-in-law, Janet Polivka of Howland. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Polivka.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 7, 2017 from 5:00 pm till 6:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2053 North Rd. NE, Warren, OH. 44483. The Rev. Father Kenneth Bachofshy will officiate.

Her family suggests contributions be made in the form of donations to the donors favorite charity.
