Patricia M. D'Andrea

HOWLAND - Patricia M. D'Andrea, 71, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic after a brief battle with cancer. She was born July 14, 1941 in Wheeling, WV and was the daughter of the late William Frank Moore and Dorothy (Castilow) Moore.

Patty was a 1959 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, where she was a majorette and a member of Job's Daughters. She was employed as a Quality Control Inspector at Packard Electric for nearly 10 years.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, liked to read about the American history and enjoyed drawing, toll painting and bird watching. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, but her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren. She shared her fun-loving personality and a positive attitude with everyone she met. Her inner strength was admired by those that knew her. Patty had a love of animals - especially family pets Mila, Lily and Sophie.

Memories of Patricia will be carried on by her daughters, Renee (Jeff) Barnes of Howland, with whom she made her home, and Kimberly Ahladis (fiancAC.e-Tom) of Vienna; grandchildren, Matthew and Jenna Ahladis, Katie and Kelley Barnes; brothers-in-law, Lou (Donna) D'Andrea, Lawrence (Lucille) D'Andrea; sister-in-law, Lucille D'Andrea and several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, James A. D'Andrea, whom she married May 14, 1960. Also preceding her in death were her parents and stepfather, Al Barbini.

Private final committal services have been held with Fr. Bernard Schmalzried of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Warren Dialysis Center, who was so caring to Patty for the last two years. Also, they would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the Cleveland Clinic, who showed such compassion and outstanding care to Patty for the last few weeks.
