Norbert J. Bogden

Norbert J. Bogden, 78, of Cortland, died 3:00 AM Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born June 7, 1926 in McKeesport, Pa., the son of the late Kazimer and Anna Roczivich Bogden.

Mr. Bogden lived most of his life in Trumbull County and attended Warren City Schools. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked for 47 years as a die setter for Packard Electric. He belonged to St. Robert's Catholic Church and the Cortland Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and watching television.

Surviving Mr. Bogden are his wife, Faith Rundell Bogden, whom he married July 13, 1948; two daughters: Judith L. (Dennis) Linville and Pamela B. (John) Rushin, both of Cortland; and four grandchildren: Erin and Brandon Linville of Columbus, and John and Daniel Rushin of Cortland.

Preceding Mr. Bogden in death are his parents; four brothers: Cazimer, Walter, Stanley, and John Bogden; and four sisters: Anna Blazonick, Alfreda Ondrejko, Helen Stankiewicz, and Bertha Bogden.

Services for Mr. Bogden will be 10:30 AM Friday, September 10, 2004 at St. Robert's Catholic Church, 4659 Niles Cortland Rd. N.E., Cortland, Ohio 44410, with Fr. Carl Kish officiating. Friends may call 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481.
