Nicholas Shon Burton

HOWLAND - Nicholas Shon Burton, 25, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014. He was born on June 11, 1989 in Warren, the son of the Richard and Lisa Gadd Burton.

Nicholas was a 2007 graduate of Howland High School, where he played football. He married his high school sweetheart, the former Chloe Reese on February 8, 2012 and they were blessed with a son, Oliver on June 6, 2011. Nicholas had served his country in the Army. He was a sports enthusiast and his favorite team was the Steelers. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Memories of Nicholas will be carried on by his wife, Chloe Reese-Burton of Howland; son, Oliver Burton of Howland; mother, Lisa Burton of Howland; sister, Kristi (Corey) Metzenroth of Champion; brother, Dustin Burton of Howland; parents-in-law, Michael and Melissa Reese of Warren; grandparents, Lois and Bill Gadd of Champion; grandmother, Nellie Burton of Champion; sister-in-laws, Claudia and Kendall Reese of Warren; nieces, Alexis and Zoe Metzenroth.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Burton who died on January 7, 2014; and grandfather, Ernest Burton who died on January 6, 2009.

Family will receive friends on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at The Movement, 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd, Niles, OH (by the back entrance to Sears), with Pastor John Ramsey. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 am on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Howland Township Cemetery.
