Nancy L. Bowker

Nancy L. Bowker, 67, of Warren, died at home Saturday, February 21, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born August 20, 1941 in Warren, the daughter of Sidney and Velma (Wilson) McBane, and had lived in the Warren area all her life.

A 1959 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Mrs. Bowker was a four-year majorette. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her trips to Mountaineer Park, and she was a long time supporter and season ticket holder of Warren G. Harding Football.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry L. Bowker, whom she married December 30, 1960; her sons, Eric W. (Melissa) Bowker and Shawn C. Bowker, both of Warren; her granddaughter, Ashley N. Bowker, and her brother, Sidney "Mickey" McBane of Warren. Her parents precede her in death.

At her request, cremation has taken place. Private memorial services have been conducted.
