Namie K. Osborne

Namie K. Osborne, 78, of Farmdale, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born November 8, 1931 in Aomori City, Japan, moving to the United States in 1954.

A homemaker, Mrs. Osborne was active with the Japanese Ladies Club, with whom she danced at the Canfield Fair and other venues for many years. She also had an extensive doll collection, and greatly enjoyed her family.

Surviving are her husband, Ronald E. Osborne, whom she married April 26, 1955; four sons: David F. (Sara) of Williamsburg, Va., Michael W. of Murrieta, Calif., Allen D. of Yorktown, Va., and Larry C. (Kim) Osborne of Winnebago, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Osborne of Warren; ten grandchildren: Justin J. (Vicki), Geoffrey D., Hannah G., Jacob C., Jericho J., Brittany R., Bethany L., Brianna M., Benjamin A., and Brooklynn E. Osborne; and two great-grandchildren, Zachary J. and Kaylie E. Osborne. Preceding her in death are her parents; a son, James Osborne; a sister; and three brothers.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Doran, chaplain of Trumbull Memorial Hospital officiating. Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
