Myrtle Rader

Warren, Ohio - Myrtle J. Rader, 88, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at Vista Center at the Ridge. She was born on October 8, 1927 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late John and Niva Slaughter Stephens.

Myrtle retired from Value City Furniture. She was a life member of VFW #3332 Auxiliary, and Altrusa. She enjoyed bowling and loved to travel.

Memories of Myrtle will be carried on by her daughters, Donna (Charles) Himes of Lordstown, and Barbara (Robert) Potts of Warren, sons: Donald (April) Rader, Paul (Kay) Rader and John (Earlline) Rader all of Warren, sister Frances Marini, and 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. Rader, whom she married May 18, 1946 and passed away April 24, 2003, and her daughter, Beverly Sue Rader, son, Thomas Allan Rader, and brother John Stephens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 10:15am until 11:00am at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. Funeral services will be held following the visitation. The VFW Post #3332 Auxiliary will conduct services at 10:00 am. Services of final committal will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna,
