Mildred Cecilia Phillips, 95, of Warren, died January 3, 2011 at St. Joseph's Health Center. She was born in Glassport, Pa. on November 11, 1915, the daughter of Patrick and Mary (Wolf ) Connor, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1940.
A graduate of Glassport High School, Mrs. Phillips was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Warren, where she was active in the Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and cleaning.
Surviving are two sons: Patrick (Georgiann) Phillips of Cortland and Theodore (Ginger) Phillips of Plano, Tex.; three daughters: Karen (Jack) Fitzpatrick of Lewes, Delaware, Corleen (Phillip) Lucik of West Farmington, and Mary Beth Phillips of Virginia Beach, Va; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Connor of Fairless Hills, Pa.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Theodore Phillips, whom she married June 14, 1940 and who died June 2, 1984; and a son.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church, 185 Laird Ave. N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with Fr. James Walker officiating. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Cortland, Ohio. Calling hours will be conducted privately. Material contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 2415 Niles Rd. S.E., Warren, Ohio 44484.
