Mildred I. Hufford

Mildred I. Hufford, 93, of Howland, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Concord Care Center of Cortland. She was born February 12, 1917 in Covington, Ky., the daughter of Clint and Bessie (Perret) Stuckey, and had lived in Trumbull County most of her life.

Mrs. Hufford was a 1936 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She worked as a secretary to the administrator of Warren City Schools, retiring in 1980.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Richard J. Hufford, whom she married June 15, 1943 and who died August 31, 1985; and a sister, Ruth A. Dwyer.

At her request, there will be no public services or calling hours. Her remains have been donated to the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
