Maybelle Streitferdt

Maybelle Streitferdt, 98, of Warren, died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born May 13, 1911 in Rochelle, La., the daughter of Sallie Martin, and had lived in Trumbull County nearly all her life.

A homemaker, Mrs. Streitferdt enjoyed bingo and slot machines.

Surviving are her children: John (Ruth) Streitferdt of Champion, Thomas Streitferdt of New York, and Nancy Woodside of Warren; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Gloria Streitferdt of Warren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, John Streitferdt, whom she married September 1, 1927 and who died June 19, 1988; and a son, Donald Streitferdt.

At her request, cremation has taken place. Her urn will be laid to rest at Pineview Memorial Park.
