CHAMPION - Mary Tomko, 100, died peacefully Thursday, March 26, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1914 in Cokeburg, PA and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Palsak) Tomko.
Mary worked at Packard Electric for 40+ years as a terminal harness worker. She was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church. She enjoyed riding her bike and was an avid follower of the Cleveland Indians. Her main love was helping family and friends to succeed in life.
She is survived by nephews, Thomas (Sandy) Tomko, John (Cloe) Pado, Andrew (Marilyn) Tomko, John Dennis Tomko, Michael (Debora) Tomko; nieces, Patricia (Vince) Rigoli, Marilyn (Clarence) Peres, and Lynn (Kenny) Newmiller.
Preceding her in death are sisters, Julia Pado, Anna Tomko; brothers, Andrew Tomko, Paul Tomko, John Tomko & Michael Tomko.
Friends are invited for a funeral service at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:00 am, calling hours are 1 hour prior to the service with Fr. James Walker officiating. Final committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Warren.
