Mary W. O'Brien

Mary W. O'Brien, 80, Warren, Ohio, passed away on November 21, 2008 at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home, Niles, Ohio. She was born on February 19, 1928 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of George H. and Emma T. Watson.

After graduating from Warren G. Harding High School, she finished her education at Youngstown College. Hired at Packard Electric Division of General Motors Corporation, she began as a secretary and during her 45 years of service, she served as the secretarial assistant to four General Managers. She retired in 1993. In 1996, she was inducted into the Packard Electric Excellence Hall of Fame, the only female to receive this recognition.

Mary is survived by a brother, William W. Watson, and six nieces and nephews. A brother, Paul A. Watson, preceded her in death.

Services are private and cremation will take place.
