Mary "Peggy" R. Longfield

Mary R. "Peggy" Longfield, 89, of North Lima and formerly of Warren, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Hospice House in Poland. She was born September 6, 1921 in Cleveland, the daughter of William and Nina Longfield, and had lived in Warren most of her life.

A graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cleveland, Ms. Longfield received a bachelor of arts degree from Notre Dame College in Cleveland. She had worked for the American Automobile Association office in Warren in airline reservations, and enjoyed her dogs and gathering with friends.

Services are 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2011 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Fr. David Shortt officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at All Souls Cemetery. Friends may call 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd., Poland, Ohio 44514.
