Mary Ellen Fess

Mary Ellen Fess, 76, of Hollywood St. N.E., Warren, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born August 8, 1932 in Lower Marlboro, Calvert County, Maryland, the daughter of Orville Franklin and Fannie Ida (Jones) Gibson, and had lived in the Warren area for 55 years.

Mrs. Fess attended business college and had worked as a legal secretary. A member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, she enjoyed reading, football, and NASCAR.

Surviving is her son, Kenneth W. Fess of Warren, with whom she made her home. Her parents precede her in death.

According to her request, there are no calling hours or services. Cremation will take place. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
