Mary Catherine Brigham, 81, of Warren, died Thursday, December 9, 2004 at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown. She was born Monday, November 26, 1923, in Curwensville, Pa., the daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Baer Diehl, and had lived in the area since 1946.
Mrs. Brigham worked on the assembly harness at Packard Electric for over 27 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, fishing, and sports, and was a big fan and supporter of both the Western Reserve Raiders and Harding Raiders.
Surviving Mrs. Brigham are her husband, Charles M. Brigham, whom she married February 26, 1947; three children: Sandra Walker of Streetsboro, Charles M. (Maureen) Brigham II of Leavittsburg, and Gary L. Brigham of Sharon, Pa.; six grandchildren: Stacy Famageltto of Aurora, Keri (Patrick) Fate of San Marcos, Calif., Melissa (Matthew) Ball of North Ridgeville, Matthew (Amy) Brigham of Warren, Melanie (Joshua) Raines of Cleveland, Tenn., and Christine (Brian) Kereluik of Warren; seven great-grandchildren: Josh and Jake Famageltto, Jonathan, Isaac, and Aaron Ball, and Kayla and Breanna Kereluik; two sisters: Beverly Amon and Ann (Bud) Leach, both of Pennsylvania; and two brothers: Albert Diehl of Clearfield, Pa., and Bernard (Barbara) Diehl of Warren.
Preceding Mrs. Brigham in death are her parents, five brothers, and one sister.
Services for Mrs. Brigham will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 13, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Anita Rayburn and Rev. Colin Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday.
