Mary Bayman

Mary (Davis) Bayman, 79, longtime resident of Warren, OH, former resident of England, and Wales, and Paris, France, died at 8:40 AM, on Monday, July 26, 2004 under Hospice Care at Washington Square Nursing Center in Warren. She was born Wednesday, March 11, 1925, in Warren, OH, the daughter of Gomer and Hazel (Gifford) Davis

Mrs. Bayman was a member of Central Christian Church, American Cancer Society, Child Conservation League, Pan-Hellenic Association and Junior Crafts. She graduated from Warren G. Harding where she was a Varsity cheerleader, and attended Duke University where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.

She was Chairperson for the Elizabeth Arden, American Cancer Society Golf Tournament from 1983-1987, and the Ladies Chairperson of the Western Reserve Boy Scout Golf Classic Pro-Am from 1980 to 1996. Mrs. Bayman was awarded February 6, 1992 the Boy Scouts Silver Beaver Award, adult scouting's highest award. She also was a member of the ladies Auxiliary of Trumbull Memorial Hospital from 1977 to 1994 and served as Chairperson of the Trumbull Memorial Hospital Charity Ball

Mrs. Bayman is survived by her husband Charles (Dick) Bayman whom she married December 29, 1945 at the Central Christian Church on High St., three sons; Scott (Lynn) Bayman of New Delhi, India , Jeff (Trudy) Bayman of Warren, and Andrew (Holly) Bayman of Atlanta GA,; three grandchildren Richard, Brandy and Zachary and one great grandson Fulton. Three brothers have proceeded in death Gomer Davis, Thomas Davis, and Willard Davis

Visitation will be at Central Christian Church on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the church parlor with services held at 11:30 AM. The Rev. Vickie Kumorowski will officiate with inurnment in the Central Christian Church, Chancel Columbarium.
