Martha "Marcie" Lee Davies of Niles, passed away peacefully at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday (10-15-14) in St. Joseph Health Center. She was 54.
Mrs. Davies was born May 8, 1960 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Thomas E. and Martha L. Elliott McCarthy.
A lifelong area resident, she attended Niles School Systems. Martha was employed as a press operator for American Paper in North Lima. Earlier in life she was the manager for the Army - Navy Garrison Post 244 in Niles.
She was of Christian faith. Ms. Davies enjoyed crafts, playing bingo, cooking, and keeping in touch with her friends through social media. Most importantly she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Martha had a heart of gold and went out of her way to help anyone in need, she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Martha is survived by 3 sons, John (Shelby) Davies of Austintown, Charles (Kerry) Davies of Niles, and Michael Davies of Canton; a sister, Cindy Cicero of Niles; 2 brothers, Thomas (Natalie) McCarthy of Hubbard and Peter (Lisa) Rogozinsky of Warren; 10 grandchildren, Noah, Keegan, Ava, Derek, Connor, Gianna, Olivia, Dezirae, Taylor, and Michael Jr; 1 great grandchild on the way.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her step-father that raised her, Peter P. Rogozinsky; a sister, Tracey LaPolla; grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home and Cremation Services LLC 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.
A funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Nathan Howe, pastor of Niles First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in Pineview Memorial Park.
