Martha Belle Capito

Martha Belle Capito, 86, of Warren, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at Gillette Nursing Home. She was born August 7, 1921 in Warren, the daughter of Quincy and Thalia (Dunlap) Redmond, and had lived in the Warren area her entire life.

Mrs. Capito was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was well known in local churches and the entire community for her singing. She belonged to the First United Methodist Church, the Warren Music Club, and the Emblem Club at the Elks Lodge.

Surviving are her daughters, Susan (Michael) Richetto of Stow, and Barbara (Ronald) DeCamp of Aurora; three grandchildren: Bryan Richetto, Gretchen Rhine, and David DeCamp; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Frank A. Capito, whom she married February 20, 1943 and who died February 15, 1973; and three sisters: June Thompson Horlacher, Ruth Slagle, and Dorothy Baldwin.

Services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, February 28, 2008 at First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Park Ave., Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Yesudas Devadan officiating. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday at the church. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park prior to services. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made either to Fairhaven School, 420 Lincoln Way, Niles Ohio 44446, or to the donor's favorite charity, in the name of Martha Belle Capito.
