Marjory D. Witherow

Leavittsburg, Ohio - Marjory D. Witherow, 89, died Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 8, 1927 in Freeport,
New York, the daughter of the late Rox and Helen Rickelman Van Campen.

Marjory devoted her life to her home and family, she loved children and flourished as a mother. She and her late husband Clarence self-built their home and raised seven children in it; five boys and 2 girls. Her hobbies included tending to her flower gardens, cooking, baking, decorating, sewing, embroidery and bingo. She absolutely loved to shop. Marjory was also a volunteer at the old St. Joseph Hospital on Tod Avenue for many years.

Memories of Marjory will be carried forward with her children, Jack F. Witherow of Lordstown, Dianne R. Morrison of Warren, Virginia (Joe) Oakes of Katy, Texas and Douglas S. (Tina) Witherow of Newton Falls. Memories will also be carried on by 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence R. Witherow and sons, James C. Witherow, Ronald L. Witherow, and Raymond M. Witherow.

Family will receive friends Friday May 5th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren with services at 6 p.m., Pastor Patricia Seger, Williamsfield United Methodist Church officiating.
