Marion D. Donnelly

Marion D. (Duncanson) Donnelly, 83, of Niles, died 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles.

She was born Friday, April 22, 1921 in Clinton, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late James W. and Margaret Shaw Duncanson.

Mrs. Donnelly was a graduate of Enfield High in Thompsonville, Connecticut and Skidmore College in New York. She worked as a bookkeeper for Dick Adgate Florist and Warren Hardware. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she belonged to the Women's Group and taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was an avid reader, golfer, and gardener.

Surviving Mrs. Donnelly are a daughter, Jayne S. (Eric) Tracey of Warren; two sons: Richard E. (Jeanne) Donnelly of Bradenton, Florida and Robert W. Donnelly of Pompano Beach, Florida; a granddaughter, Holley Tracey and grandson, Jeff Tracey, both of Warren; and a cousin, William Braunhardt of Maine.

Preceding Mrs. Donnelly in death are her parents and her husband, Eliot M. Donnelly, whom she married October 23, 1943 and who died October 19, 1994.

A memorial service for Mrs. Donnelly will be held 5:00 PM Monday, May 24, 2004 in the chapel of Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic Street N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with the Rev. Fr. Robert M. Lindberg officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Christ Episcopal Columbarium. Friends may call an hour before the service in the church library. Material contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church.
