Marion N. Brown

Marion Brown, 91, of Warren, died 9:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Horizon Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 2, 1914 in Greene Township, the daughter of Arthur L. and Ethel Dillon Nims, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.

Marion was a 1931 graduate of Greene High School. She and her husband had owned Brown Printing Company in Warren, and the Sears Auditing Dept. during World War II. She had belonged to Christ Episcopal Church, the Optimist Club, the Trumbull County Historical Society, and the Nims Family Association in Deerfield, Mass.

Marion is survived by a sister, Louise N. Szabo of Cortland, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Louis C. Brown, whom she married March 23, 1934 and who died September 6, 1990; one brother and four sisters.

Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, January 7, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Fr. Robert A. Winter of Christ Episcopal Church officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday. Material contributions may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483.
