LORDSTOWN - Margaret "Peg" E. Senne, 91, passed peacefully away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 20, 1923 in Warren, the daughter of the late James and Anna (Mowat) Shirran.

Margaret was a 1941 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and had attended Warren Business College. She was employed by Wean Engineering as a Receptionist for a few years but her most beloved job was as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifetime active member of Christ Episcopal Church of Warren as a Sunday school teacher, and was instrumental in moving the church to the Warren location. She also enjoyed doing craft groups, outreach committee, and she traveled to Guatemala to do missionary work in 1968. She was a lifetime member of the DAV Auxiliary, volunteered for Mobile Meals, New Lease on Life, and precinct poll worker. She enjoyed counted cross stitch, and water aerobics. Margaret was a founding member & spent many years with the organization CONTACT, and she loved traveling with her husband.

Memories of Margaret will be carried on by sons, Douglas (Liz) Senne of Warren, Donald (Carol) Senne of Lordstown, Richard (Amy) Senne of Bristolville; 3 granddaughters; 6 grandsons; 6 great-grandsons; and 2 great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, LaMarr A. Senne, whom she married June 1, 1946 and preceded her in death on April 3, 2013; and sister, Beatrice M. Phillips.

Margaret family will receive friends Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6 pm - 8 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren and one hour prior to services in the narthex of the church. Memorial services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015, at 11:00 am in the main sanctuary of Christ Episcopal Church in Warren. The Rev. Fr. Jeffery Baker will officiate and inurnment will follow in the Christ Episcopal Church Columbarium.
