Margaret E. Price

Margaret E. Price, 91, of Warren, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. She was born July 26, 1916 in Warren, the daughter of George and Hulda (Kujala) Pohto, and had lived in the Warren area her entire life.

Mrs. Price was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, painting, and most of all, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her granddaughters: Tammie (William) Kaye of Warren, Donna Ross of Corona, Calif., and Jennifer (Matt) Auble of Valdosta, Ga.; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Richen of Lake Milton; a brother, George (Beulah) Pohto of Alliance; and her daughter-in-law, Cathy Van Horn of Warren. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Donald C. Price, whom she married January 13, 1937 and who died March 19, 1996; and her son, David Price.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Kelly Faulstich of Emmanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Material contributions may be made to Shepherd of the Valley, 4100 N. River Rd.
