Margaret "Peg" Novak

Southington,OH - Margaret "Peg" Novak , 75, died peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 30, 1938 in Warren, and was the daughter of the late Glenn E.and Hazel Marie (Chafee) Mathews.

Peg was a 1959 graduate of Chalker High School in Southington, and was employed by the Warren City Schools as a Data Entry Operator. She served her country in the Air Force as an airman second class. She married David Allen Novak on September 30, 1960 and was happily married until his death on June 8, 1975.

Peg lead a full life enjoying many different activities some of which include; dancing, snow skiing, traveling, and shopping.

Memories of Peg will be carried on by her two sons; Jeff Novak of Southington, and Steven (Susan) Novak of Warren, sisters; Mildred (Paul) Walker, and Doris (George) Pearce, and a brother Donald Lee (Millie) Mathews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a sister; Virginia Marie Mathews, and a brother; Glenn "Pete" Edgar Mathews, Jr, and brother-in-law, Paul Walker.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 N. Park Avenue, Warren, OH, 44481. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 11:30 am in the Chapel at the Southington Township Cemetery in Southington, OH, with Rev. Mat Kelly officiating.
