Margaret E. Jones

Margaret E. Jones, 88, of Warren, died February 15, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland. She was born January 14, 1923 in West Decatur, Pa., the daughter of William T. and Esther A. (Haines) Jones, and had lived in Trumbull County most of her adult life.

A long-time member of First Baptist Church, where she had served as a deaconess and as Sunday School secretary, Margaret retired from Copperweld Steel after more than forty years of employment, working as an inside sales supervisor.

Surviving are her brother, Richard (Ann) Jones of Arizona, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents and three sisters: Ruth Kelligher, Lucille Herwig, and Rachel Csehill.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Matthew M. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
