Margaret J. Gates

Margaret J. (Bailey) Gates, 69, of Warren, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Health in Warren.

She was born on Saturday, April 7, 1934, in Clearfield, Pa., the daughter of the late Mary Ann Bailey.

She had been a homemaker.

Surviving Mrs. Gates are her son, Richard L. (Sharon) Bailey of Warren, Ohio, with whom she made her home; a daughter, Hilda J. Gates of Clearfield, Pa.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Gates in death are her mother; her husband, Samuel H. Gates, whom she married June 9, 1951 and who died September 17, 1996; a son, Frederick S. Gates; and a grandson.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2004 at First Assembly of God Church, 2640 Parkman Rd. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485, with Rev. L. Albanese officiating. Anatomical donation will be made to the University of Buffalo Medical School. Material contributions may be made to the church.
