Lucrezia E. Esposito, 95, of Howland, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born November 2, 1914 in Warren, the daughter of Sam and Lucy (Sebastian) Simone, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.
A homemaker who was devoted to her family, Mrs. Esposito was a true American craft artist and an amazing quilter. She had also been an avid bowler.
Surviving are her daughter, Judith E. Mazzilli of Warren; three granddaughters: Doria (Timothy) Savisky, Rene Mazzilli, and Victoria (Peter) Cicero; eight great-grandchildren: Michael J., Andrea Loren, Melissa Judith, and Olivia Lucretia Savisky, Alexandria Rene Mazzilli, and Peter R., Christopher J. and Angelene C. Cicero; and a sister, Bella Logan. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Guy B. Esposito, whom she married in 1935 and who died in 1986; and eleven sisters and brothers.
The Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church, 2532 Burton S.E., Warren, Ohio 44484, with Fr. Charles Crumbley officiating. Interment to follow immediately. Friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, and Words of Remembrance will be shared at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
