Lucille Smith

Lucille I. Smith, 82, 450 Quarry Lane, died at 12:30 PM on Sunday, March 7 at Pine Valley Care Center.

Mrs. Smith was born February 28, 1922 in Warren, a daughter of Fred H. and May N. Myers. She was a 1940 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

Mrs. Smith worked for many years at her family's jewelry store, Fred H. Myers, on North Park Avenue in Warren. She was a member of the Morning Light Chapter of the Eastern Star. She did significant long-term volunteer work at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and her family.

Her husband William N. Smith, whom she married February 5, 1942, died in April, 1990.

Survivors include three sons: Dr. William T. Smith of Wooster, Robert C. Smith of North Carolina, and Phillip H. Smith of Warren; a daughter, Mrs. Neil (Barbara) Harris of Brecksville; a brother, Tom, of Cortland; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A brother, Harold, and a sister, Mrs. James (Charlotte) Harris preceded her in death.

There are no calling hours. Cremation has taken place. McFarland and Son Funeral Home., 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481 handled the arrangements.
