CORTLAND - Lucille B. Lewis, 89, died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1926 in Parkman, the daughter of the late Forrest C. and Edith Brown Bidlack.

Lucille was employed by Union Savings & Trust in the loan department for over 20 years and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a Past Matron by affiliation of Morning Light Chapter #80 OES. She was a graduate of Parkman High School and attended Kent State University. She married Frank W. Lewis in 1966, whom preceded her in death in 2004.

In 1982, Lucille and Frank moved to Sanford, NC (Carolina Trace) and later to Southern Pines near Pinehurst. They were both avid golfers and enjoyed golf and spending time with friends. Lucille moved back to Cortland in 2005 to Lake Vista and reconnected with old friends and enjoyed making new friends. She was a loving wife, sister, and "Auntie" and she was loved very dearly by her family and friends.

Memories of Lucille will be carried on by sister, Vernelle Russell of Streetsboro; sister-in-law, Sally Bidlack of Vienna, nephews, Jim (Deborah) Heinold of Saline, MI and Mark Bidlake of Naperville, IL; nieces, Joyce (Jim) Anderson of Dayton, Jayne (Nick) Funari of Streetsboro, Sharyn (Jeff) Barhoover of Denver, CO, and Lynda Bidlake of Loveland, CO. She also has many loving great and great-great nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Lewis; brother, Forrest R. Bidlack; brother-in-law, Cy Russell, nephew, Jeff Heinold; and niece, Paula Bidlake.

Public Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Overlook Cemetery, Parkman, OH. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Lake Vista Clubhouse, 303 N. Mecca St., Cortland from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday with a Memorial Service for Lucille beginning at 3:00 pm with Rev. Yesudas Devadan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, her family suggests contributions be made in the form of donations to Lake Vista Chaplain's Fund at Lake Vista of Cortland, c/o Richard Miller, Exec. Director, 303 N. Mecca St. Cortland, OH 44410.
