Lucille W Austin

Lucille W. Austin, 93, of Warren, passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2018, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.  She was born July 8,1925 in Hartford, AL, the daughter of the late Leslie Hatcher and Elizabeth Pirkle Hatcher. She was a member of North Park Baptist Church in Warren.

Lucille was devoted to her late husband Argle Austin and family. She was kind, caring, and loving, and she was a committed and supportive mother and grandmother who was proud of her children and grandchildren. She cherished those times when the family got together for the holidays, birthdays and other occasions.

Surviving are her four children: daughter, Ella (Anthony) Ellis of Warren, sons, Robert (Phyllis) Austin of Warren, Alvin (Lesley) Austin of Warren, Harry William (Terri) Austin; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Annette Caskey of Warren.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Argle Austin, her parents, sisters; Voncile Lambert and Hazel Smith, brother; Earl Hatcher, daughter-in-law; Jean Austin, and 1 grandson.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Wednesday September 26, at the funeral home with the funeral service to follow with Pastor Ernest DePasquale Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
