Louise G. Wood

Warren - Louise Grace Wood, 78 of Warren, OH, died Monday, August 2, 2010 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital - Forum Health. She was born May 11, 1932 in Leetonia, OH, the daughter of the late Warren and Grace (Westover) Zimmerman.

She worked for Children's Services in the 1970s. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Wood whom she married September 14, 1958 and who died May 2, 2002.

Surviving are 3 sons, John (Evaline) R. Wood of Phoenix, AZ, David A. Wood of Warren, OH, Mark (Jessie) D. Wood of Warren, OH; one daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Parsons of Canfield, OH; 3 sisters, Betty (Hooker) Boston of Washingtonville, OH, Nora (Dick) Hussar of Salem, OH, and Lena (Jim) Tingle of Leetonia, OH; 3 brothers, Wayne (Dorothy) Zimmerman of Columbiana, OH, Ralph (Eleanor) Zimmerman of Washingtonville, OH, and Leroy (Rita) Zimmerman of Denver, CO; 7 Grandchildren; and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Monday, August 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Dudley of the Warren Family Mission officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home.
