Louise H Airhart

Surrounded by her family, Louise Hricko Airhart, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, February 24th, 2019, at Gillette Nursing home in Warren, Ohio after an amazingly joyful life.

She was born on June 10th, 1929, to Gabriel and Susan (Bacha) Hricko in Hastings, PA. She was married to her beloved husband, Vincent W. Airhart, for 65 years until his passing in 2012. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, where she also volunteered for many years prior to becoming church sacristan and the school secretary for over 20 years. Louise loved to spend time reading, painting, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Louise is survived by her brother, John Hricko of Delmont, PA, her 3 sons; William (Denise) of McDonald, Vincent "Bud", and Edward (Jamie) Airhart both of Warren, and her 4 daughters; Kathy (Robert) Diamond of Avon Lake, Nancy Harris (Ray Mitchell), and Joanne (Thomas) Smith both of Girard, and Vicki Airhart (Jim Dertinger) of Dublin, OH; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jim “Cam”, Francis, and Richard “Dick”, and her 3 sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Wilson, Evelyn Lindsey, and Kathleen Hricko.

Family and friends may gather Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at The McFarland – Barbee Family Funeral Home, Warren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019, 10:00 am, at the Blessed Sacrament Church, with Fr. Frantisek Katrinak celebrating her service. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta Twp. OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family request material contributions be made in Louise's name to Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Rd. N.E., Warren, OH 44483.
