Louisa G. Greskovich

Louisa G. Greskovich, 88, formerly of Tod Ave. N.W. in Warren, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren. She was born April 23, 1919 in Hull, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Theophile and Louise (Menard) Soubliere, and had lived in Warren since 1950.

Mrs. Greskovich had been a homemaker and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She enjoyed making stuffed animals and crocheting afghans for her family, as well as working on plastic canvas crafts. When outside, she loved tending to her flowers. She was full of life and joy to be around.

Surviving are her daughter, Maria L. (John) Baldwin of Niles; her son, Francis X. (Roberta Clary) Greskovich of Ravenna; two grandsons: Kevin Baldwin of Niles, to be married to Tara Comer this weekend, and Andy Greskovich of Warren; two sisters:, Claire and Marie-Paule; and a brother, Lucien. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Elmer J. Greskovich, whom she married October, 1950 and who died August 9, 1994; two sisters, Stella and Jeannine; and four brothers: Roger, Maurice, Raymond, and Rolland.

The family would like to give thanks to the wonderful staff and residents of Community Commons Assisted Living who became her special family for the past 3 years.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Fr. William Loveless of St. Pius X Catholic Church officiating. Inurnment at Pineview Memorial Park will take place at a later date. Material contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1401 Moncrest N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485.
