Lillie Greathouse

Lillie M. (Pon) Greathouse, 67, of Champion, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 10:30 AM at Forum Health -Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Greathouse was born December 23, 1935 in Byesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph Young and Effie Cale Young. She had lived in the area for more than 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Champion Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed reading her Bible.

Surviving Mrs. Greathouse are her husband, Carl H. Greathouse, whom she married July 5, 1958; a daughter, Melanie Betros of Fort Collins, Colorado; a son, Carl Greathouse of Champion; five sisters: Lavetta Price of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary Hall of Newton Falls, Virginia Shanower of Warren, Sarah Zigmont of Warren, and Elizabeth Woodyard of Leavittsburg; one brother, Calvin Young of Zephyr Hills, Florida; and five grandchildren.

Preceding Mrs. Greathouse in death were her parents; three brothers: Olan Young, Glen Young, and Owen Young; and a sister, Viola Mullen.

Funeral services will be held at the Champion Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. David Price of Victory Bible Fellowship in Fort Collins, Colorado officiating. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, c/o Forum Health at Home, 8747 Squires Lane N.E., Warren, Ohio 44484.
